RV/Motorhome in Wells Gray Park
Using a RV/Motorhome is a great way to travel through British Columbia, and Wells Gray Park too. There are two main provincial parks that offer vehicle accessible campgrounds. These are The North Thompson River Provincial Park and of course the Wells Gray Provincial Park.
Let’s take a look at the North Thompson Provincial Park:
This campground is located at the confluence of the Clearwater and North Thompson Rivers. It’s a great spot to camp if you are a traveler on Highway #5, traveling with young families (great little playground), or want to use it as a base camp for visitors exploring Wells Gray Park and surrounding area.
It is also great if you want to camp in a Provincial Park and still be close to a supermarket, gas station, banks, pharmacy etc.
The campground has 69 campsites all of which are accessible by RV/Motorhome, and is open from 1 May to September 30.
